The region in which we operate is the Southern Dordogne and the Lot, which is considered to be one of the most beautiful areas of France, with a greatly superior lifestyle and a mini-Mediterranean climate. It is also famous for some of the best food and wine in the world.

  The Lot is warmer and drier than the Dordogne. The seasons start earlier so that spring commences four weeks in advance of the UK, and autumn finishes approximately four weeks later. With good weather it is possible to to swim in an outdoor pool into October. There are more swimming pools installed in the Midi-Pyrenees region than any other part of France, which is an indication of the excellent climate.
